Ruslan believes that through thoughtfully designed, playful experiences with the community, that takes the whole system into consideration, we can strengthen the relations that gives people the confidence they need to share their experiences and collectively dream into the future.

His approach is guided by a framework built based on experiences and learnings that Michele, Angie and Ruslan had during their work together. The indigenous 4R’s principles of reciprocity, respect, relationality and responsibility from Shawn Wilson’s book Research is Ceremony are the foundational lens in which they view the sciences of systems change. It is at the intersection of Data, Design, Citizen and System science, that they believe lies the right conditions to build the conversations for systems to change.
